WHAT SOME OF OUR TROTTERS ARE SAYING ....

"I can't wait for the Turkey Trot this year because it's the first time I will see my former students, family, and close friends since I moved across the country in August!"

"I love the Turkey Trott because it exudes Thanksgiving. Each and everyone one of us are a small part of the whole. Collectively we make a huge difference in helping people have a better existence"

.
"The event has very much become a integral part of my family's Thanksgiving. My young son and I volunteer and it truly gets us into the spirit of the holiday. They do a wonderful job with the trot - it's a wonderful start to one of my favorite days of the year!"

******************************************************************************

"We have been running it since the kids were babies. Now two of them run it while PJ (5) still goes in the baby jogger. Such a great way to kick off Thanksgiving with our friends and community."

******************************************************************************

"This will be my daughter  third turkey trot. She is currently 2 years old and has been participating since she was born!!"

******************************************************************************

"We love the trot and consider it the best part of Thanksgiving! Can't wait for this year to see all of our friends who come out and support this wonderful event. Thanks to Louise and the rest of the team for making it happen. Your efforts are appreciated by so many!"

"Great race. Great hosts. Hoping for great weather!"

******************************************************************************

"This is the first year my father and I will be running in the Turkey Trot. We are so excited!! This may have to become a yearly tradition!"

******************************************************************************

I love that this event brings the community together on a great holiday - being thankful for family, friends and blessings all while helping a number of good causes!

"I am so thankful for this opportunity to spend time with my family doing something active before a big Thanksgiving dinner.  I live in Maryland, but my family is in Pelham, NH, so this is a great thing for me to be able to do with my niece & nephew, so thank you!!!"

******************************************************************************

"I run the 5 mile, very slowly, and my husband walks the 3 with my sons.  We have also had friends both in and out of town sign up for this year's trot.  It has become part of our Thanksgiving tradition.  Thank you for all your efforts."

"This is our first year doing the Turkey Trot and we are excited to make it a tradition for our family. Getting some exercise and donating to help others is a great way to start the day of thanks and eating great food."

"It was intimate, and the neighborhood was beautiful to run through."

We have been participating in this for the past 15 years, having known the Peltz family for some time (school and tennis)! I think this has been such a great event over the years and your family have really made it happen! My children, all grown now, look forward to this event and bring the new family members to participate with them. Its also an opportunity to see old friends and catch up on ones' lives before heading out for a brisk run or in my case, walk! Gets us in the mood for thanksgiving and relishing the good things about the holiday; friends, family, food and fun!

"My husband and I just purchased out first home in Windham, and this looks like a wonderful opportunity to meet new people in town. I also work with Jamie Staton at WMUR (I'm the new meteorologist at WMUR) and he said this is a great event. Thank you for organizing such a wonderful event- I'm looking forward to it!"

******************************************************************************

"It is a great time to see people that you once shared a common interest with on a soccer field or hockey rink or basketball court and that busy lives have taken you in different directions. It is a time to briefly reconnect with so many people that you admire and respect in this town!"

"Looking forward to running this for the first time with my two 15 year old nieces."
